OHIO GOES BLUE!!
Not often you will hear an OSU fan glad we went blue. But, we now have our first Democratic Govenor in over 20 years.
Ya, there ya go Ken, we didn't like goin RED in '04 either.Gov. Bob Taft of Ohio is one of the most unpopular governors in the nation and an ethics scandal surrounding his administration, combined with the rough terrain nationally for Republicans, will likely cause this state that put President Bush over the top in 2004, to fall into Democratic hands for the first time in more than 20 years.
The Republican candidate in Ohio, Secretary of State Ken Blackwell, was at the center of the state's voting controversy in 2004 and is a favorite son of the Christian conservative movement in Ohio, but has quite an uphill climb against his Democratic opponent, Rep. Ted Strickland.

NEXT winner is Sherrod Brown in our Senate race against Mike Dewine. Dewine has been around since I was a kid, but in recent years has turned into a rubber stamp for our deluded White House. Glad to see Ohio is getting the picture.
CBS News estimates that in Ohio, seven-term Democratic Rep. Sherrod Brown has won over GOP Sen. Mike DeWine. The last time a Democrat won an Ohio Senate race was 1992. Brown won among voters of both genders, all age groups and all races in the Ohio.
